Difficulty Resetting Password
Users who have saved their ASISTS passwords to their browser, which then auto-fills the login information, may experience difficulty logging in/changing their password.
Please note:
- If you use the “Forgot Password” function, the login
will automatically redirect to the screen where you will need to change
your password.
- when you see the screen to change your password, the
“Current Password”
field should NOT auto-populate.
- If the “Current Password” field auto-populates, then
your browser is set to save your password (which is a “no no” in terms of
security), and in this case, the auto-fill is using your old
password instead of the temporary one sent to you. The “Current
Password” is the temporary one. Please copy and paste that into the
field and then select a new password of your choosing.
